The Senior Director National Accounts will strategize, execute and deliver on targets for national accounts. This role involves building strong relationships with existing customers while also venturing into new industries to secure new business opportunities. The role will be based within the Greater Toronto area and will report to the Vice President.


Responsibilities


Lead solutions sales development efforts including educating the customer/prospect

Have a strong understanding of the customer’s business to confidently communicate and sell the company’s product solutions

Tailor the sales process to best address customer needs and be in position to control the sales outcome

Collaborate with company stakeholders to meet account performance objectives and customer expectations

Become a “product expert” in all the company’s product offerings to be effective in confidently bringing the right solution to the customer

Work closely with all team members within your markets to team sell and prospect - providing leads, clearly communicating sales strategies, and providing a mentorship role throughout the team sell process

Meet assigned expectations for pricing and profitability

Complete strategic customer account plans that meet company standards


Experience, Qualifications & Attributes


Four-year post-secondary degree

Minimum 10 years successful sales experience in a business-to-business strategic sales environment; 5+ years successful National Account successful sales experience

Proven background in selling to the ‘C’ suite

Technical/PC proficiency

Solutions selling mindset, ability to effectively influence and negotiate

Customer-driven approach, strong relationship and analytical skills

Goal-oriented and results-driven

Ability to prioritize and multi-task and react well under pressure

Self-motivated, able to work independently and achieve outcomes in a fast-paced environment

Ability to foster teamwork and collaborate with internal stakeholders

This position requires extensive travel up to 50% of the time
