The Company

Our client is a leader in their industry, seeking a Corporate Affairs Administrator (Communications department) to join their growing team. You’ll be contributing to key corporate strategies and initiatives, while helping maintain the company’s positive reputation. This role is not a communications role per say, rather, you support the Head of communications with initiatives, administration, projects, slide decks and more. The ideal candidate is an administrator or project coordinator and is communications savvy and or has worked in a communications team/ department.

Must Haves

  • Experience managing and running a communications or content calendar
  • Experience working with internal stakeholders and vendors for an external audience (corporate)
  • Project management, organizing and facilitating marketing or communication projects from start to finish (the logistics of it) (monitoring the executives)
  • Experience with email marketing
  • Experience with graphic design
  • Experience creating decks/ dashboards and monitoring them
  • Experience with analytics Metrics of a campaign or project (nice to have)

The Job

You will play a crucial role in supporting and managing activities related to marketing, communications, customer relations, and program compliance. You’ll be responsible for project management and contribute to enhancing the company's brand and reputation. In addition, you will:

  • Assisting in the execution of corporate affairs plans with a focus on areas like marketing, communications, and customer relations.
  • Handling various administrative duties, including drafting internal and external communications, creating content strategies and calendars, and overseeing communication channels.
  • Tracking the department’s budget and providing performance reports.
  • Ensuring the brand’s message is consistent and aligns with the intended audience.
  • Offering project management and administrative assistance for communication efforts, events, and key strategic initiatives.
  • Creating and designing graphics, animations, and written materials for communicating with stakeholders.


What you bring to the job

The ideal candidate has a background in corporate affairs, strong communication skills, and a proven ability to manage multiple projects.

  • Diploma or bachelor's degree in fields such as Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a similar discipline.
  • 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in corporate affairs, marketing, or communications, ideally within a corporate environment.
  • Skilled in using graphic design software.
  • Familiarity with email marketing tools.
  • Strong abilities in managing projects and handling administrative tasks efficiently.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.
