Position Overview:
As a key player in the agricultural sector, Nufarm Limited is seeking a Regulatory Affairs Specialist to oversee federal regulatory initiatives for designated projects and business segments.

Role Responsibilities:
- Provide expert regulatory guidance and leadership to various market segments.
- Develop intricate regulatory strategies independently and coordinate federal submissions for the registration of innovative products and active ingredients.
- Advocate for existing products during the federal registration review process and collaborate with operations to manage label modifications.
- Oversee all PMRA regulatory tasks for assigned projects, including new product introductions and amendments to labeling or formulation.
- Offer expertise in residue chemistry and/or metabolism to regional regulatory teams and support selected global initiatives.
- Facilitate the Canadian and US regulatory teams by coordinating the creation of new residue chemistry and/or metabolism studies, and present well-supported arguments to defend both new active ingredients and established products.
- Proactively identify potential regulatory challenges related to products or industry matters within your areas of responsibility, and take the initiative to communicate with management and devise strategies for resolution.

Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree or higher in life sciences, agriculture, or chemistry, with a specialization in residue chemistry and/or metabolism, along with a solid understanding of regulatory standards in the field of agrochemical residues and metabolism.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in regulatory affairs and compliance within the Agrochemical industry, including roles in Contract Research Organizations, Regulatory Consultancies, or the AgChem sector.
- Ideally, candidates will possess 10 or more years of experience in Canadian agricultural chemical regulatory affairs and compliance.
- Familiarity with the Canadian crop protection market and a foundational understanding of EPA and FIFRA registration processes and requirements will be considered advantageous.
