The Role: Your Next Career Move

As a Senior Engagement Manager in our Project & Interim division, you will play a pivotal role in building relationships with finance leaders, providing strategic advisory services, and connecting top-tier accounting and finance professionals with Canada's fastest-growing companies. This position is ideal for an experienced CPA who enjoys engaging with clients, solving business challenges, and driving growth.

What You Will Do

  • Strategic Client Partnerships – Build meaningful relationships with finance and accounting leaders, understand their hiring needs, and provide tailored talent solutions.
  • Advisory and Consulting – Leverage your CPA background to guide clients through financial talent decisions, structuring their finance teams for scale and success.
  • Business Development – Identify new opportunities, develop client relationships, and expand our reach through networking, referrals, and industry engagement.
  • Talent Placement and Market Expertise – Advise clients on the finance and accounting talent market, identifying and placing high-caliber professionals in strategic finance roles. You will be partnering with our dedicated candidate-facing recruitment team who sources, identifies and qualifies candidates.
  • Negotiation and Solution Selling – Lead client engagements, structure deals, and negotiate outcomes that benefit both candidates and employers.
  • Collaboration and Growth – Work closely with internal teams to cross-sell services, scale best practices, and contribute to the ongoing success of our Project & Interim division.

What You Will Need to Succeed

  • 3-5 years of experience in Finance - CPA designation is preferred. You have firsthand experience with finance functions and understand the challenges finance leaders face.
  • Business Development Acumen - You can build relationships, uncover client needs, and develop tailored solutions. Prior experience in a client-facing or customer service role is a plus.
  • Market Knowledge - You have a deep understanding of finance and accounting roles, industry trends, and hiring challenges.
  • Negotiation and Communication Skills - You are comfortable influencing stakeholders, navigating hiring discussions, and closing deals. You are not afraid to pick up the phone.
  • Tech-Savviness - Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRMs, and can pick up new systems quickly.
