Job Description:


Position Overview: As a QA Analyst for our Cloud Migration Project, you will be responsible for ensuring that our cloud-based applications and systems meet the highest standards of quality.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Test Planning and Execution: Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements and design specifications. Execute manual and automated tests to validate cloud-based applications.
  • Cloud Environment Testing: Conduct comprehensive testing of cloud infrastructure and services, including but not limited to, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Ensure that the cloud environments are configured correctly and meet all functional and performance requirements.
  • Issue Identification and Reporting: Identify, document, and track defects and issues in the cloud migration project. Collaborate with development teams to reproduce, troubleshoot, and resolve these issues efficiently.
  • Performance and Load Testing: Perform performance and load testing to ensure that cloud applications can handle expected user loads and maintain acceptable performance levels.
  • Security Testing: Ensure that cloud-based applications and data are secure. Conduct security assessments and collaborate with the security team to address any vulnerabilities.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test results. Provide detailed reports and feedback to stakeholders on testing progress and quality metrics.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry trends and best practices in cloud technology and QA methodologies. Suggest improvements to testing processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in software QA testing, with a focus on cloud-based applications and services.
  • Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
  • Creating test strategies as part of the ongoing effort to improve the overall quality of the product and the software development life cycle.
