POSITION SUMMARY

Roe Environmental is seeking an experienced professional to support environmental field program coordination and environmental management planning for construction of a marine terminal facility near Squamish, BC (Woodfibre LNG).


POSITION LEVEL / REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Intermediate Level: 3-6 years relevant consulting/construction environmental coordinator experience

Senior Level: 6-10 years relevant consulting/construction environmental coordinator experience


POSITION TERM

Full time employment contract commencing in the near term (2 – 4 weeks)


POSITION LOCATION

Shift work on the Woodfibre LNG project in Squamish, BC.

Candidates from outside of the Squamish/Vancouver area can expect to be stationed in camp. 


PREFERRED CAPABILTIES

· Experience with environmental management planning and delivery for large scale infrastructure construction

· Experience delivering environmental management systems collaboratively in large, multi-disciplinary construction teams

· Water quality monitoring and sampling experience

· Strong interpersonal skills suited to client/contractor communications via email, virtual meetings and in-person encounters

· Strong technical writing and formatting abilities

· Suitable academic background and/or experience with applied science biology work or other related field work

· Ability to respond to environmental incidents and issues on a call-out basis


REQUIREMENTS

· Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and clean Driver’s Abstract

· Ability to pass project-specific pre-entry drug and alcohol screening test


COMPENSATION RANGE

Intermediate level: $35.00/hour - $40.00/hour

Senior level: $40.00/hour - $45.00/hour
