Position Summary:
The Development Team Lead position is a leadership role responsible for enabling and guiding a cross-functional team in delivering results for the organization. The ideal candidate will have experience in solution architecture, business requirement analysis, developing solutions leveraging multiple technologies, reporting, excellent leadership skills, the ability to communicate with key stakeholders within the organization and a proven track record of managing successful software projects.
Position Functions:
- Work with Director of Software Development, and the VP of IT on corporate wide initiatives.
- Understand project requirements and ensure the team members make the correct decisions in designing their solutions.
- Act as a leader, guiding the team members to help them be successful and advance in their careers. Instills good habits and best practices to ensure high-quality solutions are delivered.
- Continuously look ahead to determine potential obstacles and discover ways to work around them.
- Hands on experience developing solutions, as the team lead you may be required to lead by example.
- Develop, maintain, and publish application systems related design documentation, standard operating procedures, policies, and knowledge base documents.
- Foster an environment of skills development and cross-training of team members.
- Adhere to corporate and IT policies, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior conduct and business practices.
- Ensure the essential procedures, methodologies and standards are understood and adhered to.
- Ensure that the highest level of customer service is provided by the application team by ensuring the application team responds to help desk requests in a timely manner.
- Work closely with IT Help Desk, DevOps, and other IT teams to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.
Minimum Qualifications:
Organizational Accountability
- Excellent time and workload management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Coach, mentor, and manage team members.
Technical
- 2-5 years of relevant Microsoft enterprise full stack solution development & technology experience.
- Proficient on modern stack solution development including, but not limited to, jQuery, Angular (8+), EF, Linq, .NET Core (7/8), MVC, Microservices, API development, Power BI, SSRS and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience on design of Microsoft Azure cloud technologies and microservice architectures.
- Excellent understanding of application development environments, techniques, and the key operational activities to maintaining enterprise level applications.
- In depth knowledge of project management methods, techniques, and tools.
- Experience with Git/GitHub, Azure DevOps, Pull Requests and CI/CD Pipelines.
Other Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computing Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or equivalent.
- 2+ years leading teams.
- Ability to conceptualize processes and suggest improvements.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experienced with production support and monitoring practices.
- Agile methodology and certification are an asset.

Résumé du poste :
Le poste de chef d'équipe de développement est un poste de leadership chargé de permettre à une équipe interfonctionnelle de produire des résultats pour l'organisation et de la guider dans cette tâche. Le/la candidat(e) idéal(e) aura de l'expérience dans l'architecture de solutions, l'analyse des besoins de l'entreprise, le développement de solutions utilisant plusieurs technologies, l'établissement de rapports, d'excellentes compétences en leadership, la capacité de communiquer avec les principales parties prenantes au sein de l'organisation et une expérience confirmée dans la gestion de projets logiciels réussis.
Fonctions du poste :
- Travailler avec le Directeur du développement logiciel et le Vice-président des technologies de l'information sur des initiatives à l'échelle de l'entreprise.
- Comprendre les exigences du projet et veiller à ce que les membres de l'équipe prennent les bonnes décisions lors de la conception de leurs solutions.
- Agir en tant que leader, en guidant les membres de l'équipe pour les aider à réussir et à progresser dans leur carrière. Insuffler les bonnes habitudes et les meilleures pratiques afin de garantir la fourniture de solutions de haute qualité.
- Regarder continuellement vers l'avant pour déterminer les obstacles potentiels et découvrir des moyens de les contourner.
- Vous avez une expérience pratique de l'élaboration de solutions et, en tant que Chef d'équipe, vous pouvez être amené à montrer l'exemple.
- Développer, maintenir et publier la documentation de conception relative aux systèmes d'application, les procédures opérationnelles standard, les politiques et les documents de la base de connaissances.
- Favoriser un environnement de développement des compétences et de formation polyvalente des membres de l'équipe.
- Respecter les politiques de l'entreprise et des technologies de l'information, en faisant preuve d'un jugement éthique sain en ce qui concerne le comportement personnel, la conduite et les pratiques commerciales.
- Veiller à ce que les procédures, méthodologies et normes essentielles soient comprises et respectées.
- Veiller à ce que l'équipe chargée des applications fournisse le meilleur service à la clientèle possible en s'assurant que l'équipe chargée des applications répond aux demandes du service d'assistance dans les délais impartis.
- Travailler en étroite collaboration avec le service d'assistance informatique, DevOps et d'autres équipes informatiques pour analyser, dépanner et résoudre les problèmes.
Qualifications et compétences minimales :
Responsabilité organisationnelle
- Excellentes compétences en matière de gestion du temps et de la charge de travail.
- Solides compétences en matière de communication écrite et orale.
- Encadrement, mentorat et gestion des membres de l'équipe.
Compétences techniques
- 2 à 5 ans d'expérience pertinente dans le développement de solutions complètes pour les entreprises Microsoft et dans la technologie.
- Maîtrise du développement de solutions modernes, y compris, mais sans s'y limiter, jQuery, Angular (8+), EF, Linq, .NET Core (7/8), MVC, Microservices, développement d'API, Power BI, SSRS et Microsoft SQL Server.
- Expérience de la conception de technologies cloud Microsoft Azure et d'architectures microservices.
- Excellente compréhension des environnements de développement d'applications, des techniques et des activités opérationnelles clés pour maintenir les applications au niveau de l'entreprise.
- Connaissance approfondie des méthodes, techniques et outils de gestion de projet.

Autres qualifications
- Baccalauréat en informatique, en systèmes d'information, en génie logiciel ou l'équivalent.
- Plus de 2 ans en tant que Chef d'équipe.

- Expérience du soutien à la production et des pratiques de surveillance.
