Teacher provides the following services: Working in collaboration with the classroom teacher, as Literacy and Numeracy Support

Programming support and development

Individualized and small group instruction

Assessments

Qualifications: Bachelor of Education Degree and Valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate

Current knowledge of effective literacy and numeracy instruction and assessment practices

Experience providing, creating and implementing individualized programming for at Risk students and students with special needs

Strong planning and communication skills

A strong background in formative assessment and data-driven instruction

Knowledge and implementation of cooperative learning/small group instruction

The ability to work alongside teachers, colleagues and contribute collaboratively as a team member

Resource and/or guidance experience preferred
