PrideNow is hiring experienced Millwrights (Industrial Mechanics 433A) for our client in Oshawa, ON. This is a direct-hire opportunity with competitive pay, benefits, and growth potential in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with maintenance technicians and tradespersons to address facility needs and ensure efficient equipment operations.
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery, including pneumatic, hydraulic, fuel, lubrication, cooling, and exhaust systems, pumps, fans, tanks, and conveyors.
- Conduct routine inspections and testing of machinery and equipment to maintain operational efficiency.
- Operate hoisting and lifting devices to safely move equipment and components.
- Troubleshoot facility equipment failures to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.
- Perform mechanical repairs to address facility malfunctions and improve efficiency.
- Assemble, install, calibrate, and align machinery to meet operational standards.
- Complete and document work orders in a timely and accurate manner.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience as an Industrial Mechanic or Millwright in a manufacturing environment.
- 433A Millwright License from Skilled Trades Ontario (mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and pumps.
- Experience with facility maintenance and industrial machinery repairs.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to safety standards and procedures.
- Availability for overnight shifts and overtime as required.
