Position Overview

Our client, a well-established manufacturing company, is looking for an Application Support Specialist to provide end-user training, business application support, and process automation using MS365 Sharepoint online Admin and Power Automate . This role acts as the link between business and IT , ensuring seamless system adoption, troubleshooting issues, and driving operational efficiencies.

This position is part of the Data Analytics & Reporting Team and will be responsible for supporting MES, ERP (MS Navision), CRM (Salesforce), SharePoint, and MS365 applications in a ticketing-based environment . The ideal candidate will have a strong manufacturing or automotive background and experience working in an agile, fast-paced environment .

Key Responsibilities

  • Business & Technical Bridge:
    Communicate effectively between business users and technical teams , ensuring technology meets business needs.
  • Conduct training sessions for end users on MES, ERP (MS Navision), CRM (Salesforce), and MS365 tools .
  • Support users in understanding and fully utilizing implemented systems.

Provide Application & System Support:

  • Manufacturing Execution System – Participate in upgrades, train users on new functionalities , and provide support for MS SQL and Windows Server environments.
  • ERP – Assist in the upgrades , ensuring a smooth transition and user adoption .
  • CRM – Work with dedicated superusers to enhance system functionality and reporting.
  • MS365 Power Automate – Develop and support automation workflows, forms, and process improvements .
  • SharePoint Administration (Azure-hosted) – Build and maintain SharePoint sites, including the HR site , and train superusers.
  • Data & Analytics:
    Support BI, database management, and reporting initiatives to drive data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications & Experience

5+ years of experience in application support, data analysis, and process improvement .

Strong expertise in MS365 Power Platform (Power BI, PowerApps, Power Automate) .

Experience with MS365 Administration (SharePoint, Teams, Forms, Workflows) .

Manufacturing or automotive industry background preferred .

Experience with database management and business applications (ERP, CRM, MES, BI & Analytics) .

Strong communication skills —can translate business needs into technical solutions and vice versa.

Ability to engage with end users, conduct training, and drive technology adoption .

Comfortable working in a smaller, agile organization without a dedicated change management team.
