Our client is seeking an experienced Property Manager to join their team. In this role, you will oversee the management and maintenance of residential, multi-residential, and commercial properties across Canada. The Property Manager will coordinate work requests, handle repair services, manage tenant relations, and ensure all properties are well-maintained and compliant with regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee property management services for an assigned portfolio of residential and commercial properties.
  • Act as the primary liaison between clients, homeowners, tenants, field inspectors, and service providers.
  • Maintain up-to-date records in internal and external property management systems.
  • Review property reports, assess findings, and provide recommendations to clients.
  • Address tenant concerns, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
  • Manage lease agreements, rental processes, credit checks, and tenant renewals.
  • Oversee repairs, maintenance, and inspections, ensuring timely and quality service delivery.
  • Coordinate tasks related to the Landlord and Tenant Board (LTB) matters.
  • Handle after-hours emergency requests by assigning them to the appropriate trades or authorities.
  • Manage contractor and service provider relationships, ensuring compliance with certifications, insurance, and safety regulations.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Post-secondary education or equivalent experience in property management.
  • 3-5 years of experience in property or facilities management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and property management software (Yardi experience is an asset).
  • Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with the property management team.
