We are seeking an experienced Suppression Technician with hands-on experience in vehicle and kitchen hood suppression systems. This fly-in/fly-out role from Newfoundland is based in Labrador City, with housing and a meal per diem provided. Supervisory or small team lead experience is an asset, as you will help support and mentor junior technicians.What We OfferCompetitive payFly-in/fly-out rotation with housing and per diemComprehensive benefits (retirement savings, pension, health & dental)Industry-leading training and career growth opportunitiesSupportive and collaborative team environmentWhat You Will DoInspect, service, and install several types of suppression and fire extinguisher systemsIdentify and document deficiencies and make recommendations per manufacturer standardsMaintain equipment and complete required documentationCommunicate findings and upgrades to customersRepresent the company professionally at all timesSystems include:Ansul A101 / CheckFire, Clean Agent Systems (Sapphire, Inergen, CO₂), Fire ExtinguishersWhat We Look For3+ years of experience with suppression systemsHigh School Diploma or equivalentValid driver’s license and acceptable driving recordAbility to pass a background checkAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and follow safety proceduresStrong communication skills and ability to work independentlyHIRING HOURLY RANGE: $32-40 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
