Position Description:

The First Six (6) Months in this Role:

What is it like to be a Business Development Representative at Environmental 360 Solutions Ltd.? You will spend your first few months in the office and on the road with your team members. You will learn how our business works and our commitment to clients. Our services include solid waste, residential collection, paper and cardboard recycling, portable toilets and fencing. You understand that while you are eligible for quarterly bonuses, it can take time to reach your magic number. Putting the hard work in early will pay off as you get settled into your role. At the end of the day, you have partners in Sales, Operations, Health & Safety and Finance.

Your Role:

  • You live our values every day in your role. You are a team player and that means ensuring stakeholders such as Operations and Health & Safety are part of the equation.
  • You will proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities to achieve or exceed sales targets.
  • You will develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • You will conduct service-related presentations and demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of our offerings.
  • You will collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales strategies and promotional campaigns.
  • You will provide accurate and timely sales forecasts and reports to the management team via our Sales CRM.
  • You will stay up to date with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.
  • You will continuously enhance product knowledge to effectively address customer inquiries and concerns.
  • You will be attending industry events and trade shows to build networks and generate leads.

Your Background:

  • You love sales and have experience of going after new clients through calls or knocking on doors.
  • You are a passionate communicator who is professional in all avenues of communication.
  • You have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • You have worked in an office and been on the road and enjoyed both environments.
  • Your ability to understand your clients' needs and negotiate sets you apart from other candidates.
  • You thrive on meeting or exceeding KPIs/ Metrics set by the team.
  • You have a monthly car allowance, and you use it to meet new and existing clients.
