Job Title: Project Manager – Critical Incident Management (12+ Month Contract)

Location: Markham, Ontario

Job Type: Contract (12+ months)

Pay Rate: Up to $59/hr CAD (1099)

Job Description:

Are you a skilled Project Manager with expertise in Critical Incident Management? We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented professional to oversee incident response operations for a leading organization in Markham, Ontario. This role requires a strong leader who can effectively manage critical incidents, minimize disruptions, and drive business continuity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Incident Response Coordination: Lead and manage the response to critical incidents, ensuring timely resolution to minimize business impact.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact, providing regular updates and clear communication to key stakeholders.
  • Incident Analysis & Prevention: Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive strategies to mitigate future incidents.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously develop and enhance incident management frameworks to improve efficiency.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of incident analysts and coordinators, fostering a proactive incident response culture.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Maintain detailed records of incidents, responses, and resolutions for future reference and regulatory compliance.
  • Training & Awareness: Conduct training programs and workshops to enhance incident management capabilities across the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in incident management or a related field, including at least 2 years in a project management capacity.
  • Certifications: PMP, ITIL, or CISSP certification preferred.
