About the Role

The IT Enterprise Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering enterprise-level IT projects that support business objectives. This role involves managing cross-functional teams, ensuring timely delivery, and overseeing the successful completion of high-impact projects. The IT Enterprise Project Manager will work closely with stakeholders, IT teams, and business leaders to drive strategic technology initiatives from inception to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Project Planning & Execution:
  • Lead and manage enterprise-level IT projects from initiation through to delivery.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Define project milestones, deliverables, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Ensure alignment between project objectives and organizational goals.
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration:
  • Oversee and coordinate project teams, including developers, IT specialists, and other cross-functional team members.
  • Foster a collaborative environment to ensure effective communication and teamwork.
  • Identify and resolve team conflicts and challenges to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Stakeholder Management:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, including internal business leaders, IT teams, and external vendors.
  • Regularly update stakeholders on project status, risks, and milestones.
  • Conduct steering committee meetings to provide progress reports and address concerns.
    • Risk & Issue Management:
    • Identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies.
    • Develop and implement mitigation strategies to address potential roadblocks.
    • Ensure that issues are resolved quickly and effectively to maintain project momentum.
      • Quality & Budget Control:
      • Ensure projects are delivered within scope, on time, and within budget.
      • Monitor project quality to meet both technical and business requirements.
      • Maintain and report on project budgets, ensuring financial accountability and cost-efficiency.
        • Process Improvement:
        • Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes, methodologies, and tools.
        • Recommend best practices to enhance project delivery and ensure organizational efficiency.
        • Post-Implementation Review & Support:
        • Oversee the post-implementation phase to ensure the project achieves its intended outcomes.
        • Conduct post-mortem reviews and provide insights for future project improvements.
        • Support ongoing maintenance and optimization of deployed IT solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing medium to large IT projects in an enterprise environment.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, software development, systems integration, and enterprise solutions. Proficient in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall). Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a keen focus on deadlines, quality, and results.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex challenges. Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and enterprise architecture.
