The Company

STAN is the first A.I. assistant for residential property managers. STAN launched in 2019 by two former property management executives who spent 13 years working for North America’s largest management company. STAN is growing quickly and is already the largest A.I. assistant in the industry. We offer two products to serve our clients, a text-bot and email assistant.

What You'll Do

  • Work on developing the first A.I. assistant for residential buildings/communities
  • Develop proprietary NLP/NLU management system to automate complex user conversations
  • End-to-end software development process from ideation to production
  • Maintain high code quality and engineering best practices
  • Assist with onboarding of new clients, from collecting data to scripting and updating client knowledge bases.
  • Liaise directly with senior executives of current and prospective clients
  • Demonstrate leadership skills working across organizational boundaries


Skills You'll Need

  • React (UI - Bootstrap/Material UI, State Management - Redux/Recoil)
  • TypeScript / JavaScript
  • MongoDB and MySQL (As we work with both RDBMS and NoSQL Databases)
  • REST API development with Node JS (Preferably Serverless)
  • Experience architecting and deploying Software Products to Cloud Providers like Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services, or Azure
  • Focused on building and shipping products, passionate about building a business
  • Experience with Git and GitHub
  • Knowledge of CI tools such as Jenkins
  • Python Scripting


Experience That Will Help

  • Bachelor's degree or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related fields
  • 5+ years of full-stack development experience with JavaScript, Python, and React libraries
  • 3+ years of experience in API, Web UI development with Reactjs, Nodejs
  • Experience with NLP, NLU, and/or machine learning is preferred
  • Experience with cloud deployment and migration is preferred.
  • Startup experience or experience working in small teams preferred


Compensation: Range is $110,000/year to $200,000/year depending on experience.
