POSITION DESCRIPTION: Le Domaine des Forges is a warm and pleasant residence which has the pleasure of welcoming just over 260 independent residents. Located in a prime area, in the heart of old Ste-Rose, Laval.
We are currently looking for a talented Practical Nurse who cares about the health of residents.
The team of auxiliary nurses ensures that resident files are updated, they respond to emergencies and ensure the well-being of our residents.
Permanent part-time position, between 4 and 8 hours per week, for weekends only, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. or from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
All other related tasks
Health Care
Administer medication in accordance with safety principles and the codes of ethics
Contribute to the adjustment of a residents' action plan based on their observations
Create and maintain metuculous notes in the residents Dossier in accordance with the requirements of the Ordre des Infirmiers et Infirmières auxiliaires du Québec (OIIAQ)
Promote and advocate for proactive care among residents
Respond to all emergency situations
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
A proffesional studies dimploma (DEP) in health care assistance, nursing
PDSB training
Up to date CPR / AED training certificates
Member of the OIIAQ
