About the Role
TandemLaunch is hiring a Technical Lead to found a startup developing state-of-the-art low-power analog and RF integrated circuits (ICs) for next-generation applications in IoT, telecommunications, and wearable devices. Our mission is to push the boundaries of energy-efficient IC design, enabling breakthrough innovations in communication, sensing, and computing. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced technical leader to spearhead our R&D efforts and drive the development of world-class IC solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the end-to-end design of low-power analog and RF ICs, from concept to production.
- Drive the development of innovative, power-efficient IC architectures for various applications such as IoT, 5G, and wearables.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to define system-level requirements and translate them into IC design specifications.
- Oversee and contribute to schematic design, layout, simulation, verification, and testing of analog and RF blocks (LNA, PA, mixers, PLLs, ADCs, etc.).
- Optimize IC designs for power efficiency, performance, and manufacturability.
- Lead tapeout efforts, including managing foundry relationships and ensuring first-time-right silicon.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence and innovation within the team.
- Stay current with the latest trends in low-power design, process technologies, and RF circuit techniques.
- Contribute to IP development and patent generation.

Qualifications
- PhD in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in designing and delivering analog and RF ICs for commercial products.
- Deep understanding of low-power analog and RF design techniques, including experience with CMOS technologies.
- Proficiency in industry-standard EDA tools such as Cadence, Mentor Graphics, and simulation environments (Spectre, ADS, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of mixed-signal IC design and integration.
- Experience with tapeout and post-silicon validation, including lab measurement techniques (VNA, spectrum analyzer, oscilloscope, etc.).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence both technical and business decisions.
- Strong problem-solving skills, creativity, and a passion for innovation.

Principales responsabilités
- Diriger et gérer la conception de bout en bout de circuits intégrés analogiques et RF à faible consommation, du concept à la production.
- Diriger le développement d'architectures de circuits intégrés innovantes et économes en énergie pour diverses applications telles que l'IoT, la 5G et les wearables.
- Collaborer avec des équipes interdisciplinaires pour définir les exigences au niveau du système et les traduire en spécifications de conception de circuits intégrés.
- Superviser et contribuer à la conception schématique, à la mise en page, à la simulation, à la vérification et au test des blocs analogiques et RF (LNA, PA, mélangeurs, PLL, ADC, etc.).
- Optimiser les conceptions de circuits intégrés en termes d'efficacité énergétique, de performances et de fabricabilité.
- Diriger les efforts de mise en bande, y compris la gestion des relations avec les fonderies et la garantie d'un silicium de première qualité.
- Encadrer les ingénieurs débutants et favoriser une culture de l'excellence technique et de l'innovation au sein de l'équipe.
- Se tenir au courant des dernières tendances en matière de conception à faible consommation d'énergie, de technologies de traitement et de techniques de circuits RF.
- Contribuer au développement de la propriété intellectuelle et à la création de brevets.

Qualifications
- Doctorat en électrotechnique, en ingénierie RF ou dans un domaine connexe.
- Expérience de la conception et de la fourniture de circuits intégrés analogiques et RF pour des produits commerciaux.
- Compréhension approfondie des techniques de conception analogique et RF à faible consommation, y compris l'expérience des technologies CMOS.
