Scope of the Service

The scope of the services may include, but are not limited to:

 Designing and developing integrations through APIs by using various tools such as Postman;

 Developing mapping of various source and target data types (database, flat file, x12, json, XML) with various transport mechanisms (SQL, REST HTTP, SOAP, FTP, FTPS, Email, etc.);

 Collaborating with onboarding teams, developers, and others;

 Providing defect analysis and resolution support for system and user acceptance testing;

 Creating and maintaining API RAML or file specification documentation;

 Creating data extraction, cleansing and formatting scripts; and

 Documenting custom logic specific to individual integrations.

Systems Integration Developer possess an enhanced understanding of the technical environment and the functional expectations of the software, as well as a keen desire to independently learn and recommend new software.

Qualifications:

The resource must have the following experience:

 Resources must possess, a minimum of, 5 years of experience directly related to programming;

 Experience designing and/or implementing web applications;

 The resource must possess 5 years of demonstrated experience in:

o Writing code that was well designed, tested and put into a production environment;

o Developing or supporting web applications;

o RESTful API design & development;

o Data mapping and transformation skills using modern integration platforms such as MuleSoft;

o Experience working in a cross functional development environment;

o Version control such as Git or Azure;

o Automation servers such as Jenkins;

o Shell scripts, such as Bash.

o CI using software such as Jenkins, Azure and Git.

 The resource must have experience developing with:

o Web development languages and frameworks such as HTML, JavaScript, Node.js, Vue.js, Bootstrap, PHP, Angular;

o APIs;

o Java/Springboot;

o Docker and Kubernetes container software;

o Development of black boxes;

o Web servers such as Apache;

o Load testing, load balancing, performance test, automated testing;

o Relational databases such as MySQL, MariaDB and MS SQL Server; and

o OS such as Ubuntu.

 Experience in the following will be considered an asset:

o Experience working with government organizations;

o Drupal Content Management System module development;

o API Gateways;

o Load Balancers and reverse proxies, such as Nginx;

o DNS Services; and

o Transport layer security.
