Overview

The Tech Vendor Management Office (TVMO) is seeking a highly analytical and strategic Business Analyst to lead the consolidation of our tech professional services vendors in collaboration with procurement. This role requires a strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage complex projects and data. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication and data analysis skills, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects.



Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive plan and roadmap for consolidating professional services in partnership with the procurement team.
  • Analyze requirements gathered from Request for Information (RFI) to identify necessary data and stakeholders.
  • Design and implement data collection templates, conduct workshops, and coordinate with relevant teams to gather comprehensive information for Request for Proposal (RFP) consolidation.
  • Analyze collected data to standardize and create a consolidated RFP for professional services consolidation.
  • Manage communication with vendors to clarify RFP requirements and address inquiries.
  • Maintain open communication with internal stakeholders regarding project status and progress.
  • Ensure adherence to project timelines and deliverables by both vendors and internal teams.
  • Analyze RFP responses, evaluate vendor performance, and prepare detailed summaries for leadership.
  • Facilitate consensus building among cross-functional teams to select preferred vendors.
  • Conduct ad-hoc data analysis within the vendor management function as needed.
  • Effectively communicate project findings and recommendations to diverse audiences, translating complex data into actionable insights.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
  • Proven experience in project management, with a focus on data analysis
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to extract meaningful insights from complex data sets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software
  • Experience in the procurement or vendor management field is preferred
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
