Your function

I am currently recruiting for one of my clients, a battery manufacturing company located in Longueuil, a Prototyping Manager - Permanent position 40h/week - hybrid

Reporting to the Prototyping Manager, you will be in charge of the following tasks:

- Supervise and manage prototyping projects to support the scaling-up of electrochemistry R&D (cathode, anode, electrolyte)
- Manage projects (quality, cost, deadlines), liaise with internal and external stakeholders and evaluate technical choices.
- Manage your team (engineers and technicians) to ensure successful completion of tests, work and analysis of results
- Ensure the technical follow-up of manufacturing (production tools) and assembly to ensure the electrochemical performance of batteries
- Oversee the purchase and selection of prototyping equipment, the drafting of methodologies and associated documentation
- Provide input for R&D activities and report on project progress to local and international teams.

Your profile

-At least 3 years' experience in a similar position in a manufacturing environment
-PhD, BAC or Master's degree in materials science, electrochemistry, chemistry, or any other relevant field
-Ing title, an asset
-Experience in project management, product development and prototyping
-Experience in team management
-Experience in electrochemistry, extrusion and coating processes
-Experience in batteries and transportation
-Bilingual French - English
-Knowledge of manufacturing principles

- Salary: $90k - $120k depending on experience
-Weekday position, permanent and hybrid, full insurance and company RRSP.
