Our client, a fintech company who is a leader in their space, is looking to hire a Manager, DevOps Platform Engineering to lead a talented team of engineers and drive their DevOps strategy. This role involves overseeing both DevOps and Cloud Engineering teams, managing tools like Kubernetes, Docker, Rancher, ArgoCD, Flux CD, and operating within an Azure environment. You’ll be at the forefront of building and supporting their DevOps platform, working in a fast-paced, Agile setting.


You will lead a diverse globally distributed team, and collaborate with business, architecture, and development teams to deliver innovative infrastructure solutions. If you’re a people-first leader with a strong background in infrastructure and DevOps technologies, this is a great opportunity to make a significant impact.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of engineers responsible for the design, implementation, and support of the DevOps platform.
  • Oversee the implementation of CI/CD pipelines and ensure the platform’s infrastructure remains scalable and secure.
  • Collaborate with various teams to design and maintain infrastructure solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and support for escalated incidents to ensure quick resolutions.
  • Foster a high-performance, collaborative team culture while promoting Agile methodologies and modern DevOps practices.


Key Requirements:

  • Proven leadership experience managing DevOps/SRE teams.
  • Strong technical expertise in Azure, containerization tools like Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipeline tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).
  • Background in infrastructure with hands-on experience in scripting and coding (Python, Go, Shell, PowerShell).
  • Experience in an Agile environment with a focus on DevOps behaviors and modern software development practices.
  • A solid understanding of cloud computing platforms and containerization.
