**What will I be doing?**
- Defines the infrastructure architecture blueprint, roadmap, and standards for cloud and security across all Payments systems, including end-to-end software licensing.
- Develops and executes a comprehensive cloud strategy that aligns with business objectives, including managing cloud costs, and ensuring scalability and security.
- Builds and leads a high-performing Cloud and DevOps team, fostering a culture of collaboration, automation, and continuous improvement. Implements DevOps tools and practices to streamline development and deployment processes.
- Leads the design and implementation of cloud-based architectures, optimizing for performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. Ensures compliance with industry best practices and security standards.
- Develops and maintains disaster recovery and business continuity plans for cloud-based services. Ensures data integrity and mínimal downtime. Maintains comprehensive documentation of cloud architecture and processes. Provides training to team members and stakeholders as needed.
- Oversees the SOC/SIRT functions to ensure service performance is achieved.
- Supports PCI DSS, CSAE 3416, and CSF compliance-related activities.
- Anticipates technical issues and risks and identifies appropriate action plans and mitigations.
- Defines modifications to solutions and architectures, reviews and approves prototypes, solution blueprints, and projects designed to address operational gaps, achieve defined performance and value, and meet business requirements.
- Provides direction to the development of specifications and input to contract documents and participates in the evaluation of proposals and negotiation of contracts.
- Works with clients and solution developers to explore specific solution options and select appropriate directions that will help define the scope of the project development.
- Acts as project manager for corporate architecture development projects coordinating the activities of project teams including assignment of work, and oversight of work quality and performance.
- Evaluate, understand, and recommend emerging technologies, products, and global standards, as they may be incorporated into future Payment solution architectures.
- Develops business unit budget requirements and forecasts, manages expenditures, and ensures compliance with fiscal targets.
- Recruits' resources as necessary and ensures that all resources receive necessary training as appropriate and are used effectively.

**What Skills and Qualifications Do I Need?**
- University Degree in a technical domain such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, or related discipline - OR - an advanced/specialist technical certification, requiring an equivalent number of years of post-secondary education.
- TOGAF or Microsoft Azure certifications are desirable.
- Public cloud experience, especially Azure architecture or engineering experience is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of strategic planning approaches, processes, tools, and deliverables.
- IT Project Management methodologies to lead and manage project development, project progress, related staff, and project resources, monitor project activities for adherence to timelines, and monitor project performance results.
- Interpersonal and oral/written/presentation skills to develop specifications and present solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Well-developed interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and effective conceptualization, pattern recognition, presentation, and facilitation skills.
