Key Responsibilities:

  • Safety First: Comply with all safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Maintenance & Repair: Inspect, maintain, and repair electric overhead traveling cranes and hoists.
  • Troubleshooting: Perform on-site troubleshooting for electrical, mechanical, structural, and electronic issues.
  • Customer Interaction: Consult with customers on repair and safety-related issues, providing recommendations to improve safety and productivity.
  • Documentation: Complete all required documentation accurately and promptly.
  • Equipment Management: Maintain company-issued equipment, vehicles, and assets in proper working order.
  • Communication: Keep regular communication with the service office and assigned coordinator.
  • Safety Meetings: Participate in monthly safety meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Recognized trade qualification as a Journeyman Electrician or Millwright, or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred: Red Seal Millwright or Electrician ticket.
  • Excellent customer interaction skills.
  • Clean driving record with a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work at heights and willingness to climb.
  • Flexibility to work varying overtime hours and be on-call as part of the service rotation.
  • Willingness to travel and work out of town as needed.
