Life Insurance Advisor Support Associate (Remote) – Wealth Management

The Client: A well-established wealth management firm seeks a professional Insurance Advisor Support Associate for their growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting Director of Life Insurance & Estate Planning the areas of client engagement, administration and operations management. This role is ideal for someone from the life insurance industry who understands the fundamentals of life insurance but is looking to transition from sales to support.

Location: Although this is a REMOTE position, we are seeking candidates who are Ontario based and who live within a 2 (two) hour commute to Toronto as there will be requirments for you to periodically attend meetings in the GTA.

As the Life Insurance Advisor Support Associate, you will be responsible for:

Client relations and underwriting duties

The management of the application process

The completion of life insurance applications for various carriers via online websites and DocuSign.

Coordinate medical appointments for clients

Maintain the active status of all insurance policies.

Notify clients of upcoming policy premium due dates to ensure continuous coverage.

Providing underwriting Support

Order APS’s and follow up with doctor offices for outstanding medical reports

Monitor all policies daily to ensure smooth processing.

Provide weekly updates on the status of pending life cases

Liaising with insurance company representatives to advance each application.

Ensuring all policy requirements are completed.

Liaising with client for outstanding documents and financial statements for underwriting purposes 

Prepare placing documents for finalizing insurance policies.

Administrative Duties:

Draft and manage all correspondence.

Collaborate effectively with team members.

Data management in excel

As the ideal candidate you possess:

A minimum of 2 years sales or administrative support experience in a Life Insurance or Financial Planning company

Preference given to candidates who have an LLQP

Strong administrative and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.

Strong computer literacy including effective use of MS Office, especially Excel, for data analysis, MacOS, Google Chrome, DocuSign

Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work independently and in a collaborative nature; everyone participates in the team’s success regardless of seniority
