New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a Project Manager to help our client on a large transformation initiative to replace multiple aging systems with a new integrated system. The focus for this PM will to work with the Training and Implementation Leads on the training requirements for the new system.


Responsibilities:


  • Contribute to oversee training project planning and ensuring alignment of training milestones with the integrated project plan
  • Set out requirements and templates for instructional materials and oversee completion of materials
  • Work with vendor and informatics resources, as well as other stakeholders, to define and lead the Train-the-Trainer implementation
  • Identify, execute and manage risks and issues including pragmatic mitigation plans associated with this work
  • Provide regular status reporting to Program leadership as required
  • Ensure appropriate documentation is organized and can be easily audited
  • Work with technical and site readiness teams to ensure that virtual and in-person classroom areas are properly identified and resourced well in advance of the start of Train-the-Trainer training.
  • Ensure time tracking and invoicing processes are followed, suggest process improvements
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure process optimization for the Program
  • Collaborate with appropriate Steering Committees and Working Groups
  • Apply PMI principles and methodology to manage the timelines, resources, scope and quality requirements
  • Use client's Project Management lifecycle (including TMO artifact templates) to manage this project
  • Maintain project decision, issue and risk logs
  • Budget development, monitoring and reconciliation as required
  • Status reporting (budget, deliverables and timelines)
  • Execute the following project deliverables: Education and Training Plan, Communication, Change Management, Pre-Go live Training, Go Live Plans, Project Closure Documents
  • Track project plans and deliverables
  • Provide updates to Leadership and work closely with working groups
  • Participate as a member of the project leadership team
  • Provide project management support through coaching and guiding the project team
  • Collaborate with other associated project teams as necessary
  • Develop Benefits Evaluation framework, including key performance indicators to monitor achievement of target outcomes for primary direct stakeholders
  • Implement an effective knowledge management repository to share project learnings within Project team


Requirements:


  • 6+ years of experience as a Project Manager
  • 2+ years of experience in healthcare with a focus on IT systems and operational support
  • Strong knowledge of general workflows in a hospital environment is an asset
  • Demonstrated internal/external stakeholder provider and clinician engagement experience
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks and effectively prioritize work
  • Strong problem solving, analytical, organization, and interpersonal skills and an ability to make effective decisions under pressure
  • Strong written and verbal communication, documentation and facilitation skills
  • System implementation experience
  • PMP certification is an asset
  • Prosci Change Management certification is an asset
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in BC Healthcare
  • Experience in large organizations
  • Experience with large-scale clinical transformation and/or clinical information system implementation
  • CIS implementation and MEDITECH go-live experience
