Pay: $60-65/hr. INC

$50-55/hr. T4


Shift: M-F, 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hour days)


Overview:

The IT Firewall Administrators will support a variety of infrastructure and security projects within a growing security portfolio. The IT Firewall Administrator will work closely with the Director, Portfolio/Program Managers, Project Managers, Project/Program Coordinators, and a variety of internal and external stakeholders to effectively deliver business results by championing a culture of accountability and consistent application of project management practices.


Responsibilities:

  • Implement / change firewall, proxy IDS/IPS rules
  • Work with customers / vendors to troubleshoot project related firewall, proxy and IDS/IPS issues
  • Update project / operational documentation and progress production change requests as required for firewall and zoning related activities


Requirements:

  • 4+ years of recent experience implementing / supporting firewall rules, active directory, and DNS in a large, complex corporate environment with multiple data centers.
  • Strong understanding of logical network and firewalling principles
  • Strong operational knowledge of Fortinet/Palo Alto/Cisco Firewalls, F5 LTM, and Microsoft ISA/TMG
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-directed, highly motivated, and results-oriented
  • Good communication, customer interaction, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work on multiple concurrent projects and multi-task
  • Team player with well-developed interpersonal skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills using Microsoft Office
  • CCNA or equivalent certification is preferred
