What We’re Looking For:


  • Licensed Optician: You are certified and registered with the College of Opticians of Alberta.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Assist patients in selecting and fitting eyewear that meets their visual needs and lifestyle preferences.
  • Provide expert advice on lens options, coatings, and frame styles, ensuring patients are well-informed.
  • Perform adjustments and repairs on eyewear with precision and care.
  • Edge lenses in-house, enhancing your technical skills and contributing to efficient patient service.
  • Assist with pre-testing procedures and dry-eye treatments as a technician, expanding your clinical experience.
  • Collaborate with optometrists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate records and manage orders efficiently.
  • Uphold our high standards of customer service to ensure patient satisfaction at every step.


Qualifications:


- Licensed Optician registered with the College of Opticians of Alberta.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in optical dispensing and patient care.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency with optical equipment and familiarity with the latest eyewear trends.

- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- Willingness to learn new skills, including lens edging and clinical procedures as a technician.

- Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
