Our prestigious client, a prominent and forward-thinking organization in the professional services industry operating in Canada, is currently seeking an experienced professional for their opening of a Diversity and Inclusion Manager.


Our client is renowned for its commitment to innovation, diversity, and exceptional client service within the professional services industry. The organization prides itself on fostering a culture of collaboration, respect, and dedication, with a focus on delivering high-value advice and creating an inclusive workplace.


Role Overview:


The Manager, EDI, People & Culture will serve as a strategic advisor, particularly for the organization's offices in across Canada, as they advance and integrate EDI principles across their operations. This role involves collaborating with internal stakeholders, including Communications, Talent Advisory, and Recruitment teams, as well as Action Committees, to promote EDI externally and internally as part of a cohesive national strategy.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead the development and implementation of annual EDI programming and events in collaboration with Action Committees and firm working groups.
  • Serve as the main advisor to the organization's Action Committees and affinity groups, overseeing annual planning and programming budgets.
  • Work closely with the National Director of EDI, People & Culture to develop and implement EDI strategies and best practices, and measure progress.
  • Collaborate with Communications and Recruitment teams to enhance the organization's EDI brand and visibility through online and social media presence and external benchmarking surveys.
  • Manage EDI and culture communications targeted to organization members, including content review and updates in newsletters and intranet.
  • Partner with Talent and HR teams to integrate EDI into talent processes.
  • Contribute to relevant organization committees to embed EDI principles at early planning stages.
  • Oversee external partnerships related to EDI initiatives.


Key Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing and implementing HR or EDI strategies.
  • Proven experience in leading communications and employee engagement initiatives, preferably in EDI.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and developing data-driven solutions.
  • Ability to provide effective advice or coaching in EDI and/or HR.
  • Excellent communication skills with experience in report writing and presentations.
  • Strong collaborative and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage projects effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work overtime when required.


On Offer is a very attractive base salary that ranges between 120-160 K plus bonus and benefits.
