The Opportunity:


ML6 is excited to partner with a leading North American consumer goods organization in the search for a Manager FP&A to join their finance team. This role is crucial in managing the annual budgeting process, quarterly forecasting, and month-end financial processes, providing senior management with insightful, actionable analysis that supports strategic financial decisions. As a key finance leader, you’ll work across departments, influencing financial systems and driving process improvements.


What You’ll Be Doing:


  • Strategic Financial Planning: Lead the development of long-range (5-year) financial plans with Senior Management to support the organization’s Strategic Planning process.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze monthly financial results against budget and forecast, delivering clear insights to senior leadership.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Finance Business Unit leads and the FP&A team to gain a comprehensive understanding of budgets, forecasts, and monthly financial results.
  • Process Development & Financial Modeling: Establish repeatable processes that support monthly, quarterly, and annual analysis.
  • System Enhancement: Partner with the Corporate Director of Finance to enhance business finance systems, improving budgeting, forecasting, and business analysis capabilities.
  • Data Management: Work alongside the Manager of Financial Systems & Consolidations to ensure accurate master data and reliable outputs from business finance systems.


What You’ll Need to Be Successful:


  • CPA designation with significant FP&A experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, or Accounting.
  • Minimum of 7 years in business and accounting, including experience at a managerial level.
  • Proficiency in business systems, Excel, and large application systems; experience with SAP is an asset.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
