We are seeking a Guidewire Architect to define and implement end-to-end IT solutions focusing on the Guidewire Insurance suite. This role will involve creating architectures that support broker connectivity, integrating Guidewire PolicyCenter with BMS vendors, and ensuring designs meet functional, non-functional, service, and security requirements. The Guidewire Architect will deliver solutions aligned with our clients IT Strategy and comply with standards and governance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop solutions for the Guidewire Insurance platform (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter, Contact Manager).
  • Produce design and migration options with associated costs, benefits, and risks.
  • Create migration solutions to convert policies from legacy systems to Guidewire PolicyCenter.
  • Collaborate with product owners, enterprise architects, and platform teams to balance long-term and short-term goals.
  • Maintain the integrity of end-to-end Guidewire solutions across platforms.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Identify risks and challenges associated with proposed solutions and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Participate in post-implementation reviews to improve future designs.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with the Guidewire Insurance suite (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, Contact Manager, Guidewire Edge).
  • Experience in broker connectivity and integrating PolicyCenter with BMS systems.
  • Familiarity with Guidewire Cloud Platform capabilities and cloud migration approaches.
  • Skilled in using APD and Integration Framework for business solutions.
  • Experience in integration architecture design and implementation.
  • Knowledge of digital technologies, cloud computing, and modern development practices.
  • Public cloud certification (AWS or Azure).
  • Strong knowledge of project lifecycle methodologies (agile).
  • Financial acumen for business case development and key design decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to provide technical guidance.
  • Strong personal impact, influence, and leadership skills.
