Your Mission
As a target-oriented and driven Terrirory manager, you will manage retail sales activity of an assigned territory and foster the long-term business relationships and loyalty of the company’s current and potential customers. The ideal candidate will have farming or agriculture industry experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Build and foster high touch and regular relationships with key accounts and prospective customers
- Act as a business partner to educate and identify unmet customer needs
- Develop innovative sales and marketing strategies to increase sales within an assigned territory
- Keep current on product knowledge and equipment
- Ensure brand awareness within an assigned trade area meets company expectations
Requirements:
- Previous sales experience, preferable in a heavy machinery or similar industry, with a proven track record of driving sales and increasing numbers
- The ability to connect and communicate effectively with customers and/or other employees
- Organization and advanced follow-thru skills
- Knowledge and familiarity with John Deere and competitive products
