We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager for one of our leading clients in the Manufacturing industry

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a Preventative Maintenance schedule and plan, ensuring the schedule is carried out, plan missed maintenance activities, and lead the team to deliver effectively
  • Ensure that designated buildings, plants, and facilities are fit for purpose and provide proactive support/solutions when required
  • Provide technical expertise to the team, Create, promote, and encourage teamwork among maintenance staff and with other internal and external personnel.
  • Identify and deploy the technical skill sets, resource levels, and systems to deliver projects, including the engagement of external resources as required
  • Ensure that the facilities, layout, and machinery used to produce new and existing materials and goods run to their maximum efficiency and output
  • Adhere to all IATF 16949 policies and procedures
  • Must comply with all ISO 14001 (Environmental) and OHSAS 18001 (Health and Safety) systems and standards as it pertains to their work


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. (Master’s degree preferred)
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or similar role in the automotive industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, PLCs, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
  • Experience with preventive maintenance programs, reliability-centered maintenance, and predictive maintenance techniques.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
  • Proficiency in budget management and cost control.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards in manufacturing environments.
  • Holding a Millwright or Electrician Ticket
