Pega Business Analyst

We are looking for a Pega LBA for a 1 year contract with high possibility of extension. Role is primarily remote with occasional in office meetings in Downtown Toronto.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into functional specifications for Pega systems.

Lead the design and implementation of Pega solutions that meet business requirements and are aligned with the company’s strategic goals.

Serve as a key liaison between business teams and IT to ensure clear communication and understanding of processes and designs.

Facilitate and participate in workshops and meetings to derive valid business insights and compile business process documentation.

Perform gap analysis between business requirements and the capabilities of the Pega platform.

Configure and model business processes in Pega to meet the end-to-end requirements.

Develop and execute test plans to ensure that configurations and customizations meet the desired specifications.

Provide training and support to business users on new systems and processes.

Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and adjust as necessary to ensure timely delivery.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Pega capabilities and best practices, advising the team on upgrades and new features.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Certified Pega Business Architect (CPBA) nice to have .

Minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis or a related field, with at least 3 years specializing in Pega systems.

Proven track record of leading and delivering complex projects using Pega solutions.

Strong understanding of business process management (BPM) methodologies and practices.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills combined with strong business acumen.

Experience in stakeholder management, requirements gathering, and process mapping.

Skills:

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and work collaboratively with various teams.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex ideas effectively.

Detail-oriented with an ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Proficient in Pega Platform and familiar with Pega frameworks.

Knowledge of CRM strategies, customer journey mapping, and digital transformation.
