About the Role:
As the Senior Sales Manager – Apparel Sourcing, you will be responsible for negotiating with buyers and sourcing managers of our clients to secure competitive pricing while ensuring their sourcing needs are met. Your role will focus on expanding our customer base, managing existing relationships, and optimizing our manufacturing capabilities to align with client requirements. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth of a multinational company in its early stages in Canada, with significant learning and career advancement potential.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to expand our current customer base and manage existing customer relationships, ensuring their sourcing needs are met with the highest standards of quality and sustainability.
- Negotiate with buyers and sourcing managers of our clients to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms, aligning with our manufacturing capabilities and business objectives.
- Leverage your sourcing experience to drive business growth, optimizing the supply chain to meet customer demands efficiently and cost-effectively.
- Ensure the sourcing processes, timelines, and quality standards meet or exceed the needs of our customers, providing exceptional service and fostering long-term relationships.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Development, Merchandising, and Supply Planning, to streamline operations from sourcing to final delivery, enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Identify new market trends and sourcing opportunities to expand our product offerings and enhance our competitive edge.
- Provide insights and strategies to mitigate risks and overcome challenges in the supply chain, ensuring reliable and consistent service to our customers.
- Mentor and develop a team of sourcing specialists, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous learning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Apparel or Textile Design, Merchandising, or a related field from a North American institution (Required).
- Minimum of 10 years of North American experience in apparel sourcing, with extensive expertise in negotiating with buyers and sourcing managers (Required).
- At least 3 years of B2B sales experience within the North American Apparel Industry, handling quarterly sales targets of USD 2-3 million (Required).
- Over 5 years of demonstrated experience in apparel sourcing and a deep understanding of the fashion industry, including textiles and supply chain management.
- Proven track record in marketing, office administration, and managing multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong negotiation skills with a history of successfully managing client relationships and securing competitive pricing and terms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain robust relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Highly organized with exceptional prioritization skills, capable of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required.
- Proactive, adaptable, and able to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

- A competitive base salary with a high commission structure, providing substantial earning potential. $110,000/year OTE, Capped at $200,000/year
