A specialty recreation instructor is a professional who possesses expertise in a specific area of recreation, such as arts and crafts, fitness, sports, music, or outdoor activities. These individuals are responsible for planning, organizing, and leading programs or classes related to their specialized field. Their primary role is to teach and inspire participants, helping them develop skills, explore new interests, and enjoy recreational activities. QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED Qualifications for a specialty instructor can vary depending on the specific area of expertise. Here is a list of common qualifications and certifications that may be required.
