Amir Quality Meats is a wholesale meat production company located in Brampton Ontario with an immediate opening for a Production Clerk.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Data Entry and Production Data Management Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and sorting documents for data entry, entering data into our database software accurately and efficiently, and managing daily production data for our daily reports. You will also be responsible for resolving discrepancies, responding to information requests, and ensuring data confidentiality. If you have a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to learn new software quickly, we would love to hear from you
Job Descriptions
- Preparing and sorting documents for data entry.
- Entering data into database software in a timely manner and checking to ensure the accuracy of the data that has been inputted.
- Learning the Inventory Management Software used by the company.
- Resolving discrepancies in information and obtaining further information for incomplete documents.
- Responding to information requests from authorized members.
- Maintaining operations by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes.
- Maintaining customer confidence and protecting operations by keeping information confidential.
- Managing daily production data and incorporating it into daily reports for the daily meeting
- Compiling and analyzing production data to ensure accuracy and completeness for reporting purposes.
- Assisting in the preparation of daily reports for the production team, highlighting key metrics and performance indicators.
- Collaborating with production supervisors to ensure data is accurately captured and reported in a timely manner for daily meetings.
At a Minimum, You Have
The minimum education qualification for this role is typically a high school diploma or equivalent. Additional qualifications such as an associate's degree or certification in data entry, office administration, or a related field would be advantageous.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing industry.
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, varying shifts, and holiday work, as required.
- Willing and able to work in a cold environment.
- Ability to communicate in English both verbal and written.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Team player who is comfortable collaborating with other departments but also working independently.
- Comfortable working in a deadline-driven and fast-paced environment.
