DevOps Engineer

• Create and maintain the deployment infrastructure in Docker, Helm, Ansible and Kubernetes
• Ensure consistency of the OS settings (OS updates, security patches, startup scripts, network settings, etc)
• Handles network configuration
• Manages the development tools (VSCode, GDB, compilers, static code analysers, etc.)
• Creates and maintain the software update system and ensures that software lineups are consistent
• Maintain Artifactory and dependency versioning
• Set up, maintain and optimizes development and release pipelines in GitLab
• Handles all local IT-related activities
• Help investigate system and software issues by performing root cause and trend analyses
• Maintain the lab
• Provide technical support during higher level integration and qualification testing
• Help improve and support continuous development and integration infrastructure
• Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
• Creating CI/CD pipelines and building out robust deployment automation
• Mentor and support the growth of other team members.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Computer Science or related technical/scientific degree
• 5+ years of DevOps experience
• Bilingual in English and French
• Extensive experience in containerization (dockers, Kubernetes etc.)
• Well-versed in networking concepts (VPN, DNS, TLS/SSL, NTP, SSH, and TCP/IP etc.)
• Linux administration experience (e.g. RedHat/CentOS/Ubuntu)
• Understanding and experience in managing CI/CD tool chain such as, GitHub, Jenkins, Artifactory, Sonarqube
• RedHat OpenShift knowledge an asset
