About the Opportunity

  • Establish and manage accounts receivable and credit function
  • Review new customer accounts by performing credit checks and reviewing histories and set proper credit limits in consultation with management
  • Work with employees, sales representatives and customers to collect all past due customer accounts
  • Keep the appropriate employees and sales representatives apprised of any changes in customer credit ratings
  • Maintain records of customer credit history
  • Prepare monthly accounts receivable aging reports for management review and facilitate regular management review meetings
  • Manage cash application for month end close
  • Prepare monthly Accounts Receivable aging report
  • Promote and maintain a flexible, cooperative, team oriented, and customer focused attitude within and between departments
  • Negotiate with customers on credit limits and terms based on Departmental and Company policies
  • Keep management aware of pertinent issues and information warranting their knowledge, action and/or resolution
  • Directly supervise the Canadian Accounts Receivable team. Oversee the cash application team
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws


About You Bachelors degree

  • 5-7 years of AR Management Experience
  • Bilingual in English and French
  • SAP experience is a strong asset
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
