Bilingual Quality Assurance Representative

MUST BE BILINGUAL (FRENCH - ENGLISH)


Summary of Position:

Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the company’s Quality System. Process customer and vendor returns. Assist in promoting a total quality environment and ensuring the continual improvement of branch products and processes.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Investigate reason for, document, report, review and process customer returns.
  • Investigate reason for, document, report, and review vendor returns (Return Purchase Orders)
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System:
  • Maintenance and calibration of Measuring and Test Equipment
  • Branch Management Quality System Reviews
  • Internal Quality System Audits
  • Customer lead audits/visits
  • Conduct root cause investigations and make recommendations for corrective and preventative actions
  • Provide internal and external technical assistance
  • Assist in continual improvement projects in the capacity of branch Lean Focal
  • Ensure audits are completed and scores are posted on the intranet in a timely manner


Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 2-3 years Quality Assurance/Control experience
  • Bilingual in French/English and possesses the ability to communicate technical terms in both languages.
  • 1-2 years of experience or training in ISO9001 or AS9100/9120
  • Quality systems, Lean training and computer experience
  • Experience in using measuring tools (caliper, micrometer, ruler, protractor, tape measurer)


Preferred Requirements:

  • ASQ certification
  • Lean training, metallurgy, welding, manufacturing, metal experience and/or training
  • Experience or training in ISO13485 and SAP
