Position Summary


We are seeking a family law clerk to join our growing team. Experience in family law is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will have a passion for developing their career as a law clerk, the ability to follow direction and pay attention to detail.


Key Responsibilities


  • Supporting counsel on their files, with opportunity for growth and strong mentorship
  • Drafting documents, including correspondence, court documents (such as confirmation forms, affidavits of service, financial statements, etc.)
  • Serving and filing documents
  • Assembling financial disclosure briefs, exhibits, and other documents
  • Arranging court appearances, mediations and meetings
  • Communicate effectively with clients, maintaining professionalism and empathy


Skills and Qualifications


  • Experience as a Law Clerk in family law
  • Strong work ethic and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Positive attitude with a client-centered approach
  • Proficiency in technology and legal software


Compensation


Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience
