The Integrity Group of Companies consists of five different business units, with the primary areas of focus including the construction of post frame buildings across Western Canada, supplying framing material packages to homebuilders in Calgary and area, as well as manufacturing.

The Fleet and Asset Manager is responsible for ordering, managing, forecasting, and maximizing efficiency for all fleet and facility assets while managing a team of technicians and administrative staff. This role works with all areas of Integrity, as well as vendors, and will use data and analytics, to bring best practices for fleet and facility assets, maintenance solutions and operating costs for the lifecycle of the fleet and asset.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage the company’s ordering and support of fleet vehicles and mobile equipment including upfitting, delivery, maintenance, repairs and fuel requirements to ensure they are safe, dependable, and presentable to Integrity standards
  • Oversee all aspects of building functions and planned improvements to guarantee safe and functional facilities
  • Identify, develop and implement plans, policies and procedures to improve department procedures and maximize asset availability
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, provincial, state, and local regulations related to fleet operations, including licensing, registration, and inspections
  • Manage relationships and negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective vehicle ordering, and fleet and facility maintenance and repair services
  • Review of repairs performed by third parties or subcontractors
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date asset management records and reports, including vehicle inventory, maintenance schedules, and fuel usage
  • Collect, analyze, and present key performance indicators related to fleet and facility operational performance and provide expert recommendations
  • Work closely with the operational teams to ensure equipment and facility needs are met
  • Assist in the development of a cost centre budget and manage actual spend
  • Manage and develop a team of fleet and maintenance employees


Education/Experience Requirements

  • Minimum Education:
  • University or College education in Business Administration, Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field required
  • Minimum Experience:
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role


Skills/Qualifications

  • Vendor management and basic account knowledge considered assets
  • Strong leadership and troubleshooting skills and basic knowledge of the asset is preferred
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to create a culture of accountability and cross departmental teamwork
  • Ability to perform under pressure and in a fast paced and rewarding environment
