Our clinic is looking for a dedicated Intake Coordinator to join our interdisciplinary team of Psychologists, Psychological Consultants, Social Workers, Behaviour Analysts, and Occupational Therapists working to provide strength based and trauma informed care to children, adolescents and families in York Region.


As the first point of contact for clients seeking our services, you will play a key role in assessing needs, coordinating referrals, and matching clients with appropriate clinicians.


Qualifications:


  • Administrative experience
  • Strong attention to detail, time management and organization skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in technology
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Motivated, reliable, ability to work independently
  • Experience with handling confidential information is an asset


Key Responsibilities:


  • Facilitate intake sessions with clients to assess needs for services, goals, and book appointments
  • Responding to questions from clients and referral sources
  • Use clinical judgment to connect clients with appropriate clinicians based on need for assessment and/or treatment
  • Monitor and respond to new client inquiries via email and phone
  • Maintain excellent communication with team members to prioritize client care
  • Perform administrative duties related to billing, invoicing, etc.
  • Efficiently schedule appointments using Jane App
