If you have the knowledge and expertise in the distribution, eCommerce, shipping and logistics industry, we invite you to apply today.Job Responsibilities:Experience and knowledgeable in setting up and manage a distribution central warehouse, including but not limit to racking, equipment, shipping and receiving, operationsStrategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and visionOversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operationsPerform general maintenance of machinery used in the warehouseManage the warehouse tools and equipment with scheduled inspectionKnowledgeable of materials for shipping and receiving needSetup layout and ensure efficient space utilizationInitiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and proceduresAdhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirementsMaintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and securityManage stock control and reconcile with data storage systemLiaise with clients, suppliers and transport companiesPlan work rotations assign tasks appropriately and evaluate employeesOrient, coach and motivate employeesManage customer service requests promptly and resolve issues quicklyProduce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report etc)Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services providedQualifications:Fast learner with very strong technical and logical thoughtProven work experience as a warehouse manager5+ years experience in a warehouse manager’s roleExpertise in warehouse management procedures and best practicesExperience with retail / ecommerce warehouse operationProven ability to implement process improvement initiativesStrong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Hands on experience with warehouse management ERP software and databasesLeadership skills and ability manage staffsStrong decision making and problem solving skillsExcellent communication skills BS degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administrationEnglish and Mandarin will be an asset
