About Orionis Trading Company Ltd. 


We are an ecommerce distribution and 3PL company located in the heart of Vancouver B.C. We are a small team that work closely together focused on an encouraging and collaborative environment. We specialize in the CPG industry, and we primarily work with SMBs and SMEs.  


Our primary partners are Amazon Vendor Central, Costco.ca, Well.ca, Natura Market and more. As we continue to grow, we are looking to expand our services to other online marketplaces. We are looking for a dynamic and knowledgeable Ecommerce Marketplace Specialist to join our team and help us achieve our growth goals.  

This role is hybrid position and require minimum 3 days of the week to be in the office.  


Key responsibilities: 

  • Lead the expansion efforts into new online marketplaces, including Amazon Seller Central and Walmart.ca. 
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for entering new ecommerce platforms with rest of the team 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, IT, and marketing, to ensure successful marketplace integration. 
  • Manage relationships with new and existing ecommerce partners to optimize performance and resolve any issues. 
  • Process POs for 1P platforms with order desk team and find ways of efficiency and ensure vendor satisfaction. 
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and marketplace requirements. 
  • Provide training and support to internal teams on new marketplace processes and best practices. 
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and marketplace updates to ensure our strategies remain competitive. 
  • Ensure all listings are optimized and work with the marketing team to build out annual promotions for listings 


The qualifications for this role: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field 
  • 3+ years of experience in eCommerce  
  • Strong understanding of fulfilment processes and requirements for various ecommerce platforms  
  • Strong understanding of product listings and SEO principles  
  • Computer savvy with Microsoft Office experience 
  • Ability work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with different teams 
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to read and understand SOPs  
  • Self-motivated, detail oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
