Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Branch Administrator to join our team. This pivotal role is designed to assist new financial advisors in their transition process, monitor the progress of transitions, and address any questions or challenges that arise. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and thrives in a dynamic environment.


As a member of the Advisor Transition Team, your role would entail:

  • Assisting new advisors with onboarding, ensuring a smooth and efficient transition process.
  • Monitoring and tracking the progress of transitions, ensuring milestones are met.
  • Reviewing and validating transition-related documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Acting as a point of contact for new advisors, promptly addressing their questions and concerns.
  • Coordinating with various departments (Tax, Estate, Financial Planning, Insurance) to ensure the seamless setup of accounts and services for new advisors.
  • Evaluating information from multiple sources, ensuring consistency and alignment with organizational standards.
  • Following up on missing or incomplete documentation and providing progress updates to stakeholders.


Job Requirements:


Must-have:

  • A minimum of 4-7 years of experience in a financial services or Wealth Management role.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with core aspects of Wealth Management and investment account types.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Full-time, in-person availability.

Nice-to-have:

  • Progress towards or completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation.
  • Experience in an Advisor support or advisor transition role within the financial services sector.
