Digital Marketing Specialist (Part-time, Contract)

Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, the Digital Marketing Specialist will plan and curate effective and inviting digital campaigns that demonstrate strong return on investment and engagement. The incumbent will report on and analyze performance metrics of digital initiatives to demonstrate value. This role will look for opportunities to continuously improve on delivering marketing programs that ensure beneficial return on investment.


This is a Part-time Independent Contractor role requiring approximately 20-25 hours per week (i.e. incumbent will bill Berenson for their services)


Responsibilities

  • Web design (coding may be required in a language similar to Bootstrap) – plan, write, produce, edit, and publish content and landing pages; updating the company website
  • Planning and coordinating paid advertising with Meta, google ads
  • Social media community management including liking, following and engaging with our audience, content scheduling and posting.


What you need to have:


  • You have completed a post-secondary education program in digital marketing.
  • You have at least 2 years relevant experience differentiating a brand(s) online, to engage customers throughout the customer experience funnel.
  • You’re proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, EMS, CRM, social media and CMS software, within Microsoft Office and Windows operating systems.
  • You are comfortable capturing key metrics from digital platforms and conducting basic analysis.
  • You have some knowledge of ERP and eCommerce software, HTML and CSS.
  • You can plan, write, produce, edit, and publish meaningful, branded visual content to promote brand awareness and lead generation.
  • You are a driven, motivated, and organized individual who demonstrates excellent interpersonal communication skills and time management.
  • You leverage your knowledge of SEO and metric insights to grow the company’s online presence to create successful digital marketing campaigns.
  • You have a desire to learn and develop your marketing skills and relationships to build subject matter expertise.
