Senior ServiceNow Platform Specialist

Akkodis is partnered with a global leading investment management firm who are looking to recruit a Senior ServiceNow Specialist here in Toronto to support a key HRSD implementation.


Reporting into the Director, ServiceNow and Operations Platforms, the Senior Engineer will work with a small team and aid in the design, development, and integration of stakeholder requirements into ServiceNow. The role will require frequent interactions with stakeholders to understand and design new features, as well as support and update existing capabilities.


Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Recommending and implementing best practices across the ServiceNow eco-system to ensure a well designed and sustainable platform
  • Improving Operational Practices (leveraging data and operational practice to identify and drive improvements).
  • Build partnerships with various groups including IT operations, infrastructure, application engineering and business teams to further strengthen the overall effectiveness and efficiency of ServiceNow as an enterprise platform.
  • Actively contribute to the day to day technical deliverables for ServiceNow
  • Interact with multiple internal stakeholders leveraging the ServiceNow platform, including Human Resources, Information Security, Service Desk and Service Management
  • Design and implement high quality solutions leveraging best practices and mature delivery methods
  • Validate that appropriate work flows, policies, standards and processes are in place.
  • Act as technical mentor to internal ServiceNow team


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, engineering or related field.
  • Technically proficient with ServiceNow with a demonstrated history of delivering capabilities on the platform in multiple functional areas
  • Expertise in various ServiceNow Modules such as HRSD, ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, SecOps, etc.
  • Experience with CMDB and CSDM.
  • Hands-on experience in ServiceNow Scripting.
  • Strong understanding of agile practices and continuous delivery
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a track record of execution.
  • High level of initiative and work well in a team environment.
  • Ability to communicate credibly and persuasively with the broader organization
  • Any ServiceNow Certifications such as CSA, CAD, CIS-ITSM, CIS-ITOM, or CIS-SecOps, is highly desired.
