POSITION OVERVIEW:
QFL instructor for POLI 4120 Indigenous Peoples in Canada: Politics and Policy
The Department of Political Science at Kwantlen Polytechnic University invites applications for applications for qualified instructors to be added to its inventory of contract (‘sessional’) faculty, in the following area of expertise:
- Indigenous-settler relations in Canada
- Indigenous politics and policy
More information concerning the working conditions for a faculty member are outlined in Article 12 of the Kwantlen Faculty Association (KFA)
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Candidates should possess a graduate degree in Political Science or related field, and/or relevant expertise, including lived experience and professional experience in Indigenous issues or Indigenous-settler relations.
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:
A complete application includes a cover letter (including positionality statement); current curriculum vitae; copies of any recent teaching evaluations; and the names of three references able to comment upon your teaching ability and/or your relevant lived and professional experience.
SALARY INFORMATION:
Placement on the will be dependent on level of education and relevant teaching experience. Advancement up the pay scale is based on FTE and employment status.
