Job Summary

Diamond School is seeking a dynamic and experienced educator to join our teaching team as an ADST and Computer Systems Instructor. This is a full-time position that involves teaching a range of ADST classes, including computer programming, robotics, and science.

About the Role

We are looking for a teacher who is passionate about delivering high-quality education and has a strong background in computer systems and ADST. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work collaboratively with other staff members to achieve school goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach ADST classes, including computer programming, robotics, and science
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills

Requirements

  • Eligible for B.C. Teaching Certification or B.C. Independent Schools Teaching Certification
  • Strong computer skills and experience with computer programming and robotics
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other staff members
  • Comfortable using technology in teaching, including web-based tools
